March is Women's History Month. Keeping with the tradition of women business owners in her family, Angel Henderson is a Houston area entrepreneur with over 2 decades of marketing experience. She is currently the owner and operator of Angel Henderson Insurance Agency. Mrs. Henderson embarked on an exciting 10-year career in the pharmaceutical industry after graduating from University of Houston’s top ranked business program, all the while opening and collaborating in several small businesses including a clothing boutique and salon product line. Since being recruited by State Farm, the leading insurance company in the country, to be an agent, Angel has applied her vast experience to help protect Texas families and community members through insurance and financial services products. She considers her career more than an marketing opportunity; it is an avenue to educate and empower the community for their lives now, and in the future. She amazingly does all of this while being a supportive wife, loving mother of a son and daughter, and friend to many.
